ABOUT ME
I’m a senior product designer based in Los Angeles, currently at American Specialty Health. I enjoy figuring out how things work, asking a lot of questions, and making complicated products easier for people to use.
Before becoming a designer, I spent four years teaching elementary school. Teaching first graders taught me a lot about patience, listening, and realizing that if something is confusing, sometimes you just need to explain it differently. That mindset has followed me from the classroom to EdTech and now healthcare.
These days, I work closely with product and engineering to research, design, prototype, and ship products. I especially enjoy the part where an idea is still a little messy and we're figuring out what it should become.

WHEN I AM NOT DESIGNING
When I’m not designing, I’m usually cooking something new, cycling, planning my next Taiwan trip, camping when I get the chance, or getting way too invested in a true-crime documentary.
EXPERIENCE
From the classroom to product design, each chapter has shaped how I understand people, simplify complexity, and build products for the real world.
